Becky Lynch returned to WWE on the August 3 edition of Monday Night RAW for the first time since her loss of the Women’s Intercontintental Championship, confronting reigning Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan and her Judgment Day allies. During her return promo, a crowd-popping line was ultimately removed and edited out of RAW on Netflix, leading to some questions being raised.
Lynch declared that Morgan was not only not the best champion in her own group, but she was also not the best champion who had slept with Dominik Mysterio. This line was edited out of WWE’s Netflix broadcast after originally being included in the live version of the show. However, this wasn’t a case of the line causing any sort of issues within WWE. According to reports from both Fightful Select and in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, this line was all part of WWE’s rundown and plan, and it wasn’t something that was off the cuff.
In recent months, several parts of WWE's shows on Netflix have been edited, blurred, and had moments removed, many of which being instances of swearing, bloodshed, and more, so Lynch’s line was seemingly seemed to be one that was too far to keep in the show.
