Duke Hudson was recently announced for his first indy wrestling appearance after his WWE release in early February 2025.

The former Chase U member is set to appear for Pandemonium: Pro Wrestling for their House Always Wins event as part of WrestleMania weekend in Las Vegas. A follow-up from Fightful Select has shed some more light on Hudson’s booking, with it noted that Hudson was originally set to appear for Pandemonium Pro later this year, but his appearance was brought forward when AEW star Wardlow was pulled from the event.

Whilst no reason has been given for Wardlow’s withdrawal from the show, it has been noted that Hudson has been great to work with, with Pandemonium Pro having nothing but good things to say about the Australian star.

Hudson was released by WWE in February after spending six years in the promotion, the majority of the time on NXT. Post-release, Booker T suggested that a six-year stay in NXT was ‘way too long for anyone’, with Hudson believed to have been released as Triple H didn’t see him as a ‘main roster guy’.
