After months of speculation, Kamille finally made her first appearance on AEW TV as a full-time member of the All Elite Wrestling roster, with Kamille attacking Britt Baker on Mercedes Moné's behalf on the July 24 edition of AEW Dynamite.
Shortly after departing the NWA in late 2023, reports at the turn of 2024 stated that Kamille and AEW were in talks, with it suggested that Kamille signed a deal with the organisation. A new report from Fightful Select states that Kamille’s return on Dynamite was kept quiet, and that the former NWA Women’s World Champion has indeed been signed with AEW since February with graphics and materials prepared for her official debut way ahead of time.
A further report from PWInsider corroborates Fightful’s version of events and states that AEW were waiting for the right storyline to debut Kamille, having secured her signing amid interest from WWE NXT early in the year.
Kamille previously appeared on AEW TV in 2021, confronting Leyla Hirsch before an NWA Women’s World Title match between the two at NWA EmPowerrr, a match Kamille won.
