It was officially announced by TNA Wrestling on Sunday evening that Steve Maclin and Myla Grace were no longer a part of the company, with TNA writing: "TNA Wrestling has come to terms on the release of Myla Grace & Steve Maclin, effective immediately. We wish them the best in their future endeavors."

Steve Maclin noted on X/Twitter that his TNA exit came about after he asked for his release from the pr0motion. This is similar to Myla Grace, who asked for and was granted her release.

According to Fightful Select, Steve Maclin hoped to keep word of his departure quiet but TNA ultimately issued a press release. The promotion did not consult Myla Grace or Steve Maclin about issuing the press release ahead of the announcement.

Maclin had reportedly been outspoken about his frustrations with TNA's creative dating back to 2025, while the pay scale in TNA had also been discussed as an issue within the promotion. The majority of talents in TNA are not signed to full-time deals and they are instead on short-term contracts.

The expectation is Steve Maclin will have interest from companies outside of TNA. People within WWE and AEW reportedly would not be surprised if Myla Grace eventually signed with either company.

Steve Maclin had been a part of TNA Wrestling since the summer of 2021, signing with the promotion a few months after his WWE release. Maclin was a featured talent throughout his TNA tenure and he is a one-time TNA World Champion, having held the belt for 54 days in 2023. Maclin is also a two-time TNA International Champion and he finished up his TNA run in the main event scene, with his final match being a TNA World Title match against Mike Santana on the May 21 edition of Thursday Night IMPACT.

Myla Grace joined TNA in May 2025 but she was primarily used as a jobber to the stars, losing 16 of the 20 matches she wrestled in TNA.
