Backstage News On WWE Signing Ethan Page

Ethan Page has signed with WWE

The May 28 edition of WWE NXT featured several surprises, including the debut of Ethan Page.

‘All Ego’ made his shock entrance into the company by sneak attacking NXT Champion Trick Williams, the angle marking Page’s first major appearance since exiting All Elite Wrestling in early May.

Reports from Fightful Select and PWInsider Elite indicate that Page has indeed signed with WWE, with Page believed to have put pen-to-paper on a deal in the last few days after reporting to WWE’s Performance Center "under the cover of extreme darkness” in the past few weeks.

Page’s debut was reportedly well received within the company, with some main roster talents apparently ‘excited’ about the former TNA World Tag Team Champion signing with the company.

Formerly Josh Alexander’s tag partner in The North, Page was part of AEW and sister promotion Ring of Honor from 2021 until 2024. During his time in AEW, Page teamed with Scorpio Sky as The Men of the Year, and feuded with the likes of Tony Nese, Matt Hardy, and Darby Allin, the latter a continuation of their feud from EVOLVE.

Page is also the booker of Hamilton, Ontario-based Alpha-1, and it is unsure at this moment if his WWE signing will impact his work with the indy fed.
