Backstage Reaction To Explosive Karrion Kross Promo

Karrion Kross turned a lot of heads over WrestleMania 41 weekend, with this mostly coming after an explosive promo when speaking with Sam Roberts on the WrestleMania Recap live stream following his appearance at the event, interfering on behalf of AJ Styles in his match with Logan Paul. 

His promo was presented as a shoot, using expletives, talking about his previous firing, Scarlett using his real name to try and calm him down, and complaining about his spot on the card whereas others like Paul get opportunities despite not being there every week. Fightful Select have offered an insight into WWE’s reaction to the fiery speech. 

There is reportedly no heat on Kross after the promo, even though it wasn’t scripted. It is said that the promo “did turn heads” within WWE, which may explain another report which emerged this week that suggested Kross was set to receive more opportunities in WWE going forwards. When it comes to fellow WWE wrestlers, it is noted that some reached out to Kross to both check on him and thank him after the promo.
