Backstage Reaction To Logan Paul Vs. John Cena WrestleMania 41 Discussions

WrestleMania 41 will be the very final one of John Cena’s in-ring career, and will act as part of his 2025 retirement tour that will see him say farewell to his time as a professional wrestler. Ahead of WrestleMania 41, there have been some rumblings over a potential opponent for Cena, one of those being former United States Champion Logan Paul. 

WrestleVotes on X have revealed that there have in fact been some discussions based around a match between Logan Paul and John Cena at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas, however, the backstage reactions to these talks have been overwhelmingly negative. It is noted that the idea has received ‘resounding disapproval’ from some of those on WWE’s creative team, with the reasoning being that Paul should not be the choice for Cena’s final ever match on the Grandest Stage Of Them All, and that someone else should have that spot instead. 

Paul recently re-emerged at WWE’s RAW on Netflix press conference event, being revealed as the newest member of the Monday Night RAW roster despite announcing his in-ring retirement a week or so prior to this appearance.
