In 2025, SummerSlam at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey will be expanding to two-nights, joining WrestleMania in WWE’s yearly schedule as a multiple night premium live event. Going forward, it looks as though WWE is hoping to expand this trend even further.

WrestleVotes Radio on Sportskeeda’s Backstage Pass noted that WWE is actively considering making select PLEs two nights, with the next option up on the list being the Royal Rumble. This was reportedly considered for the upcoming 2025 event in Indianapolis, but this was delayed until 2026. Although nothing has been officially announced, the idea would see the men’s Royal Rumble match headline one night, and the women’s Royal Rumble match headlining another. Additionally, it is noted that sources suggest the same discussions are going on for the Money In The Bank PLE, with both a women’s and men’s ladder match able to headline both nights too.

When it comes to Money In The Bank, it is expected that it may not be until 2027 until a two-night event rolls out, with it looking as though WWE will expand one PLE per year, with the Rumble up next after SummerSlam.
