Backstage Reaction To Natalya's Bloodsport Performance

Natalya has had a busy WrestleMania week away from the world of WWE, becoming the latest wrestler to make a cameo in GCW’s Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport, competing on April 17 at the Pearl Theater at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada in a winning performance against Miya Yamashita in what was an acclaimed performance by many. It isn’t just fans who shared the positive sentiment, as her work has reportedly also not gone unnoticed in WWE. 

Fightful Select have noted that sources within WWE revealed that “they were impressed” with Natalya following her match with Yamashita at Bloodsport, which showcased a much more serious, focused, and physical in-ring style that she hasn’t shown in WWE for some time. It is also noted that Natalya was “extremely happy and felt vindicated” after her match - something that could be seen in her mannerisms and expressions before, during, and following the bout. 

Natalya would also brawl in the crowd after her match with Yamashita with NWA Women’s World Champion Kenzie Page, hyping up Natalya's upcoming appearance in NWA’s Crockett Cup on May 17.
