Backstage Reaction To Recent Charlotte Flair/Tiffany Stratton SmackDown Segment

Controversy has been rife in the WrestleMania 41 feud between Tiffany Stratton and Charlotte Flair, as several wayward segments led to backstage unhappiness and apparent heat between the two women. Last week's show saw a promo segment go off the rails in what was believed to have seen several off-script jibes from both, including a personal comment about Flair’s recent divorce. 

On this week’s SmackDown, WWE Women’s Champion Stratton defeated Roxanne Perez in a non-title bout, but her celebration was cut short by an attack from Flair, who beat her down and stood tall to end the segment. A parking lot attack was also filmed and shown between the pair too. Although WWE were reportedly unhappy last week, the sentiment has changed this week.

Fightful Select have revealed that despite some stiff action in their brawl this week, WWE were happy with how it all went down, with both Stratton and Flair agreeing to work together and put the last few weeks aside. It is stated that everything went as planned this time around. Stratton and Flair will meet on Night One of WrestleMania 41, with WWE confirming reports of the match card earlier this week.
