WWE have revealed that roast comedian Tony Hinchcliffe is set to host a special Late night special during SummerSlam 2025 weekend, after his controversial WrestleMania roast in early 2025.

Hinchcliffe - host of the popular Kill Tony series - came under fire from elements of the pro-wrestling fanbase for offensive and edgy material performed at the Roast of WrestleMania in April, an event which will likely never be aired in its entirety.

The upcoming WWE Late Night show with Hinchcliffe is set for Englewood, NJ as part of SummerSlam weekend in August, and a report from Fightful Select there hasn't been much talk or feedback from within WWE about Hinchcliffe coming back, save for the fact that "at least it's not another roast.”

Roast comedy in itself can toe a fine line between edgy and offensive, and whilst WWE Late Night is not anticipated to be a straight up roast, it is assumed that the material will likely be in the same vein to that of April’s show. Late Night again will be a live affair only, and is not set to be broadcast.
