HOOK appeared to be in ill health during the final moments of the April 9 edition of AEW Dynamite.

The former FTW Champion teamed with Samoa Joe to defeat Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta in the main event of Dynamite and HOOK was beaten down post-match, taking a Neutraliser on a steel chair from Castagnoli. Immediately following the match and prior to the Neutraliser, though, HOOK could be seen vomiting on the ring mat.

Dave Meltzer has since reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that HOOK didn't suffer a concussion on Dynamite, but there is no word on why he was unwell.

HOOK doesn't look set to miss any in-ring time as he will team with Opps stablemates Samoa Joe and Katsuyori Shibata to challenge The Death Riders for the AEW World Trios Championships on the April 16 episode of Dynamite. AEW World Champion Jon Moxley will substitute for PAC in the match due to an ankle injury PAC suffered on last week's Dynamite.

The April 17 episode of Dynamite will be a special Spring BreakThru show to celebrate AEW Dynamite becoming the longest-running weekly primetime pro wrestling show in Turner Sports history.
