Bandido has confirmed he suffered a concussion at ROH Final Battle.

The former ROH World Champion wrote on Instagram (translated):

"What a weekend! I can only thank God for allowing me to wake up one more day after everything that happened! The blow was to a sensitive area of my head, and now I just have to wait and hope there's no brain swelling. Thank you to everyone who has been messaging me to ask about my current condition! It's been hard to deal with myself these past few days - too much frustration is invading my mind. The toughest battle of my life is coming, and it's with myself! All I can tell you is that I will try to return to the ring a thousand and one times!! Whether I make it back someday or I'm left trying…!"

Bandido then quoted Rocky Balboa from the 2006 movie of the same name, adding:

"You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done."

Bandido suffered the concussion only moments after he made his return to Ring of Honor making the save for Matt Cardona following the ROH World Title match at Final Battle. Bandido suffered the injury after landing on the back of his head following a missile dropkick.

Bandido had been out of action for 18 months with a broken wrist. He had to undergo two surgeries after his wrist didn't initially heal correctly.
