AEW President Tony Khan confirmed that Bandido is signed to the organization, tweeting out the standard "...is All Elite" graphic following Bandido's victory over Rush on Friday's episode of Rampage.

Khan wrote, "Congratulations @bandidowrestler! What a huge win moments ago on #AEWRampage on @TNTdrama tonight!! Now it's official: Bandido is ALL ELITE!"

The win over Rush advances Bandido to the semifinals of the AEW World title Eliminator tournament that culminates at Full Gear. Bandido will face Ethan Page in the semifinals on this Wednesday's Rampage.

The match with Rush was Bandido's second with AEW. A former ROH champion, Bandido challenged reigning ROH titleholder Chris Jericho on the September 28 Dynamite, but was unsuccessful.

Bandido was offered a contract with AEW following the Jericho match, while WWE also showed interest in bringing him in. According to this week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Bandido chose AEW due his family, as AEW offers a lighter schedule, and there was an apparent unwillingness from his family to move to Florida.

Bandido's deal is reportedly for three years, and is said to include a "maximum number of dates".
