Bandido Reveals He Hasn't Spoken To Tony Khan Since ROH Acquisition

Bandido is set for ROH Supercard of Honor on April 1

Ring of Honor returns with Supercard of Honor 2022 on April 1, the first ROH show since their self imposed hiatus, and the first since Tony Khan bought the company.

The takeover was reportedly a somewhat last minute affair, and speaking with Más Lucha, ROH World Champion Bandido admits the takeover took him by surprise:

"It’s incredible but it did take me by surprise, admittedly. They always say that change is for the better, so I’m interested to see what is next in this new phase (of Ring of Honor). If I continue, and I would love to continue, I will be thrilled to be there. If not, then I look forward to closing that chapter the best possible manner.”

Bandido is set to put the ROH World Title on the line against ROH Classic World Champion Jonathan Gresham in a winner takes all match at Supercard of Honor, but Bandido admitted he has yet to speak with Tony Khan:

"They haven't reached out to me. We [Bandido & Khan] have not spoken since the 2019 Battle of Los Angeles Tournament, unfortunately."
