Baron Corbin, Mustafa Ali Appear On WWE NXT
Baron Corbin and Mustafa Ali were on WWE NXT this week
Two main roster talents were present inside the WWE Performance Center for the Tuesday, May 30 edition of NXT.
NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes successfully defended his title against Noam Dar in the main event of NXT but the champ didn't have time to celebrate as he was suddenly laid out by Baron Corbin with the End of Days following his win. Corbin then made it clear that he intends to challenge for the NXT Championship by holding up the title belt as NXT went off the air.
Earlier in the show, Mustafa Ali made his NXT TV debut, as he joined the commentary team during Wes Lee & Tyler Bate vs. The Dyad. Joe Gacy attacked Bate and Wes Lee following the match which prompted Ali to leave the commentary desk to attack The Schism leader.
Both Baron Corbin and Mustafa Ali became free agents in the WWE Draft. Corbin is currently on Friday Night SmackDown in a programme with Cameron Grimes, while Ali recently unsuccessfully challenged GUNTHER for the Intercontinental Championship at Night of Champions.
