Batista Responds To Fan Criticism Of 'Zombies' At WWE WrestleMania Backlash

"Shouldn’t you be tweeting Vince?!"

Batista has responded to fan criticism of the use of 'Zombies' at WWE WrestleMania Backlash.

The former WWE Champion narrated the opening video package for the show with his latest film, 'Army Of The Dead', sponsoring WWE's latest pay-per-view event.

Having teased some of his 'friends' being at the show, a group of Zombies were utilised as the lumberjacks for Damian Priest and The Miz's Lumberjack Match at WrestleMania Backlash. The undead horde would 'eat' John Morrison at ringside before swarming the ring to devour The Miz following his defeat to Priest.

The Zombie's involvement has prompted reaction on social media, with one fan tweeting Batista directly, saying: "Hey Dave I love you, but this zombie sh*t on the WWE Backlash show was insulting!"

The message got a response from 'The Animal', who insinuated that the way the Zombies were utilised was down to WWE Creative and Chairman Vince McMahon.

He wrote on Twitter: "Wtf you telling me?!! You think I booked a bunch of f**king zombies? I’m on a damn plane! Shouldn’t you be tweeting Vince?!"
