Report: Don Callis’ IMPACT Role Has Changed

What’s the Invisible Hand up to now?

Ever since Kenny Omega won the AEW World Championship from Jon Moxley, Don Callis has been instrumental in the Belt Collector’s every move. Devoting more and more time to Omega and the Super Elite have caused many in IMPACT to question where Callis’ loyalty lies, with IMPACT EVP Scott D’Amore telling The invisible Hand that he needs to ‘decide if he’s an IMPACT EVP or part of Omega’s family’.

Now it seems art may be imitating life, as Callis is no longer listed as an IMPACT EVP on the Anthem Sports & Entertainment website.

According to a report from Fightful Select, several IMPACT talents have noted that Callis’ role has changed significantly, or is at least in the process of changing, adding that many believe Callis will be continuing to serve in an on screen role while D’Amore will be ‘leading the charge’ going forward.

D’Amore’s comments to Callis on IMPACT could be a way to subtly announce the real change, and explain why Callis is spending more time on AEW: Dynamite than on IMPACT. There is also the possibility that this is all a work, but with the change to the Anthem website as well as the IMPACT website, this pours a little cold water on that idea.
