Bayley's WWE WrestleMania 37 Appearance Was A Last-Minute Addition

"I think it did have a big deal to do with people on Twitter and people kind of speaking their voice."

Bayley has revealed that her segments at WWE WrestleMania 37 were a last-minute addition.

'The Role Model', despite carrying the Smackdown Women's Championship throughout the majority of 2020 and being one of the highlights of the Pandemic Era in WWE, found herself without a match at 'The Showcase Of The Immortals'.

Her absence from the two-night card was noticed by fans, who clamoured on social media for Bayley's recent stellar performances to be rewarded with some kind of appearance at WrestleMania. The former Champion was involved in segments across both nights, before being confronted by The Bellas on the main stage.

Speaking to SportsKeeda Wrestling, she said: "Not to give too much away, but that was a very last minute thing. And I think it did have a big deal to do with people on Twitter and people kind of speaking their voice. Which I appreciate.

"But I would have liked the two nights off guys. It would have been nice to sit back for once. I had to defend so many titles in the past at WrestleMania, so it would have been nice. And then I try to do something good for them and then I get tossed off the freaking stage by these two mothers [The Bella Twins]. So embarrassing.

"But you know what? It's all good. It's all in the past. And I'm back where I'm supposed to be."
