Becky Lynch Confirms Separated Shoulder

She sustained the injury at SummerSlam

In the opening segment of WWE Monday Night Raw, Becky Lynch confirmed that she sustained a separated shoulder in the Raw Women's title match at SummerSlam on Saturday.

Coming out with her arm in a sling, Lynch revealed the nature of the injury, and vowed to begin a new comeback story. Lynch also thanked Bianca Belair for pushing her to the limit on Saturday. She called Belair out, and the two exchanged complimentary words, with Lynch saying, "Hold it down, B. I'll see you soon", before leaving.

Soon after, Lynch was attacked backstage by Bayley, Dakota Kai, and Iyo Sky, before Belair made the save.

Fightful Select's report on Lynch's injury notes that it was incurred early on during her Raw Women's title match with Belair on Saturday night in Nashville. Lynch did manage to finish the match, which Belair won.

The report goes on to say that there's no timetable for Lynch's return, while noting in regards to creative plans going forward, that Lynch being out, "... did affect creative to some degree."
