Update On Sasha Banks & Naomi's Reported WWE Returns

Sasha Banks and Naomi look set to come back to WWE with a report from WrestlingNews.co noting on Monday that the former Women's Tag Team Champions had reached an agreement with the organisation to return. Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer then noted he could not 100% confirm if Naomi and Banks were back, only that one source told him that a deal had been agreed. 

In an update, it does indeed appear that Banks and Naomi are on their way back to WWE with Dave Meltzer reporting on F4W Online that it is unclear if a deal has been signed yet "but it is moving in that direction." It is also expected within WWE that Banks and Naomi will be coming back. 

The two talents have been away from WWE TV since they walked out of the May 16 episode of Monday Night Raw over a creative dispute. They were then stripped of the Women's Tag Team Championships and indefinitely suspended, with reports later noting they had been removed from the company's internal roster and Banks had been released. 

Following Vince McMahon's retirement on July 22, though, it was noted that WWE's new leadership team of Stephanie McMahon, Nick Khan, and Triple H planned to try and reconcile with Naomi and Banks.
