Becky Lynch says she is 'very grateful' for how her WWE career has turned out, including how her bloody nose and concussion from Nia Jax was 'a blessing in disguise'.

Lynch, as SmackDown Women's Champion, was scheduled to face Raw Women's Champion Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series 2018. Less than a week prior, however, Jax caught Lynch for real in the face, breaking her nose and giving The Man a legitimate concussion.

The image of Lynch in the crowd, covered in blood, is one of the most iconic pictures in modern wrestling history. The incident also led to Lynch being pulled from the Survivor Series match, eventually resulting in her main-eventing WrestleMania 35 alongside Rousey and Flair.

Speaking at the WWE press junket earlier this week, per GiveMeSport, Lynch said: "I think that in retrospect, I need to buy Nia Jax a bouquet of flowers because I think, without that image, you know, myself covered in blood on top of the stands with my arms out, like my career, it may not have gotten to the place that it's gotten now.

"So yeah, 100% it was a blessing in disguise. I don't know what would have happened otherwise. We would have had our match, I probably would have won. Who knows? Who knows what would have happened?. It's so hard to tell, but I am very grateful for everything that happened along the way."
