Becky Lynch Pitched An Angle Where She'd Get Attacked In The Maternity Ward

Those wrestlers, always thinking about business

It's been 11 months since Becky Lynch went out on maternity leave from WWE. Lynch has subsequently given birth to her daughter Roux, though has yet to return to WWE television in any form.

Apparently, if Lynch had her way, she'd have come back by now.

Stephanie McMahon appeared on the Bill Simmons Podcast, and revealed that Lynch wanted to make the most of her situation in 2020, as far as tying it in to wrestling.

"I kept talking to Becky all during her pregnancy and then afterwards," McMahon revealed. "And she was actually pitching somebody jumping her in the maternity ward! She’s just well, you know, ‘I guess we could re-enact it.'"

McMahon also left the possibility of Lynch appearing at this weekend's WrestleMania 37 open-ended, saying, "Anything can happen. You never know Bill. You never know."

Lynch has been a part of every WrestleMania (either pre-show or main card) since WrestleMania 32 in 2016. She won both the Raw and SmackDown Women's titles in the main event of WrestleMania 35 in 2019, defeating Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair in a triple threat match.
