Becky Lynch needed 11 stitches following a laceration
Becky Lynch is still your NXT Women’s Champion following her successful defence against rival Tiffany Stratton last night at the NXT No Mercy premium live event, marking her second televised defence of the gold after also outlasting Natalya on an episode of Monday Night Raw.
Lynch vs. Stratton was contested under Extreme Rules, allowing for weapons being involved and more chance of getting hurt, and this is exactly what happened with Lynch. During the match, Lynch suffered a laceration on her arm. Their back and forths saw steel chairs, a toolbox, a shopping cart, tables, and more, so it is of little surprise that she didn’t come out of things completely unscathed. Either way though, she was well enough to complete the main event of the evening and win the match.
Fightful Select is reporting that Lynch required 11 stitches to patch up her wound, though the injury doesn’t seem to be a serious one as the report has revealed that aside from that, Lynch is okay.
