Josh Barnett Vs. Claudio Castagnoli Added To AEW WrestleDream Zero Hour

AEW WrestleDream is fast approaching, but that hasn’t stopped Tony Khan from adding more matches to the card, with two more bouts added to WrestleDream Zero Hour.

In what is a completely random match out of nowhere, Claudio Castagnoli will take on Josh Barnett in a singles match. In a small video package, Barnett revealed himself to be one of Antonio Inoki’s prized pupils, so his inclusion on this show does make a bit of sense due to the tribute nature of the event, though his AEW debut does certainly come out of left field.

Elsewhere, a mixed multi-person tag team match has also been announced for Zero Hour, as Shane Taylor, Lee Moriarty, Mercedes Martinez, and Diamante take on the team of Keith Lee, Satoshi Kojima, Athena, and Billie Starkz, in what is also a very random match that feels thrown together. It is a match that features names from ROH, AEW, and NJPW, making it a big multi-promotion affair.

Zero hour also sees The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn take on TMDK, and Luchasaurus vs. Nick Wayne
