Becky Lynch Returns, Wins WWE Women's Tag Team Titles With Lyra Valkyria At WrestleMania 41

Becky Lynch is back in WWE and she is a champion once again, having won the WWE Women's Tag Team Titles with Lyra Valkyria.

Lynch was revealed to be Valkyria's new partner in the semi-main event of WrestleMania 41 night two. Becky ended up winning the match for her team after Liv Morgan walked straight into a Manhandle Slam.

The win saw Becky Lynch become a two-time WWE Women's Tag Team Champion, while Lyra Valkyria is now a double-champion in WWE due to already reigning as WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion.

Becky Lynch had not appeared on WWE programming since her contract expired in June 2024. Despite leaving the company, it was expected that Lynch would eventually return, and she ultimately re-signed with WWE in the new year. Plans for Lynch’s return were delayed, however, while the two sides were “waiting for the right creative.” 

Lynch ended up teaming with Lyra Valkyria at WrestleMania 41 following an injury angle on the night one pre-show, which led to Bayley being removed from the match. Bayley is not dealing with a legitimate injury, however, and it was decided she would be pulled from the show in an angle several weeks ago.
