Becky Lynch's WWE Deal Expiring This Weekend, Future Plans Revealed

Becky Lynch's post-WWE plans revealed

Becky Lynch will no longer be a part of WWE when the weekend begins unless the two sides can agree to terms on a new contract.

Speculation has been rife about Lynch's WWE future in recent weeks and she dropped the Women's World Championship to Liv Morgan at King and Queen of the Ring on May 25. Lynch then came up short in a steel cage rematch on Monday Night Raw, tweeting after the show, "To be continued."

Fightful Select has reported that Lynch and WWE have not agreed to a new deal, although they have held talks. As of the time of writing, Lynch's WWE contract expires on June 1 and she will become a free agent this week.

According to PWTorch, Becky Lynch has been telling people within WWE that she isn't joining All Elite Wrestling imminently after her deal expires. Instead, the belief is Lynch will be taking a hiatus and one colleague of Lynch's in WWE believes she will return to the company at some point, especially since her husband Seth Rollins only recently signed a new deal. The colleague, however, noted that Lynch's "body and mind could use a break for a while."

PWInsider noted the belief within WWE is the two sides will come to terms on a new deal at some point. The expectation, Fightful reported, is Lynch will receive the biggest offer of any woman in the history of pro wrestling.

Becky Lynch signed with WWE back in 2013. She is a seven-time women's champion on the WWE main roster, having held the Women's World Title once, the SmackDown Women's Title four times, and the Raw Women's Title twice. Lynch is also a one-time NXT Women's Champion and one-time WWE Women's Tag Team Champion.
