Bellator MMA Fighter Valerie Loureda Signs Multi-Year Deal With WWE

WWE have added an MMA fighter to their roster.

Vince McMahon's organisation have signed Bellator MMA prospect Valerie Loureda. The 23-year-old is a part of Dan Lambert's American Top Team and she has a 4-1 record, as well as 919,000 Instagram followers. 

Loureda will move to Orlando and report to the WWE Performance Center on July 19, ESPN reported. She will remain under contract with Bellator but she will be a full-time WWE talent. 

The MMA prospect previously attended two WWE tryouts in April and May and she was said to have impressed WWE coaches, who see her as a "high-ceiling talent." 

Loureda already has big plans and she is aiming to be on NXT TV by the end of the year. 

Commenting on her WWE signing, Loureda wrote on Instagram: "I am honored to become the first Cuban American woman in history to sign with the WWE. I will be the greatest female sports entertainer of all time, mark my words. I come from a family of immigrants, now it's my time to represent our Latin culture, I was destined for this. Thank you for this opportunity @wwe @wwenxt I will make you proud. AZUCAR! #305."
