Domestic Violence Case Against Jake Atlas Dropped

Jake Atlas will not be prosecuted

The domestic violence case against Jake Atlas has been dropped, according to court documents obtained by TMZ Sports

Officials decided not to prosecute Atlas, with it being stated: "From the investigation which has been made, it is the opinion of the writer that this case is not suitable for prosecution."

Atlas was arrested back on May 23 and charged with misdemeanour battery of his long-term partner in Orlando, Florida. The police report noted Atlas was "physically aggressive" after he and his long-term partner engaged in sexual activities with a female friend and the partner showed "half more attention" to the female. This initially caused a verbal argument before Atlas charged at his partner.

The partner then left the building but Atlas followed and scratched them, ripping their tank top.

Atlas was on a per-appearance deal in All Elite Wrestling, having debuted in the promotion in late-December 2021. That deal was paused after he suffered a torn ACL in January in a match with Adam Cole and reports noted following Atlas' arrest that he would not be returning to AEW.
