Bianca Belair Downplays Rumours Of A Heel Turn
Bianca Belair isn't on board with turning heel in WWE
With some crowds offering Bianca Belair less than savoury reactions in recent months, and with some more attitude from promos, there have been rumours of a heel turn for the EST of WWE. However, Belair has played out any potential of being a heel, stating that what she does outside the ring as a babyface is something she values too much.
When speaking to Alex McCarthy of the Daily Mail, the former women’s champion was asked about whether her mindset of being a heel was the same as John Cena’s, whose Make-A-Wish work and other endeavours prevented him from ever being in the position of turning heel, as his work outside the ring was so important as a good guy.
“Very similar feelings. It’s a feeling that sticks with you outside the ring. We can’t be inside the ring every hour of the day. Those are the things that mean the most to me, the impact I have outside.
I have the same feeling that he felt. I hear everybody like turn heel and I’m like, hmmm.”
Belair went on to touch on how some of her heel tendencies from the NXT version of her character are making their way into the main roster version of herself, though this doesn’t necessarily mean a heel turn is incoming.
