Bianca Belair, Randy Orton & More Advance To King & Queen Of The Ring Semi Finals

The semi-finals for SmackDown's King & Queen Of The Ring bracket have been decided

The quarter finals of the King & Queen Of The Ring tournaments on the SmackDown bracket took place last night, with some notable names advancing to the next round.

In the King Of The Ring tournament, “The Butcher” of the Bloodline Tama Tonga picked up another win early in his WWE run, defeating LA Knight thanks to help from the other members of The Bloodline. In the main event of the show, Randy Orton defeated new main roster call-up Carmelo Hayes, setting up a heated and intense match for the semi-finals against his current rival Tama Tonga.

On the Queen Of The Ring side, Bianca Belair defeated Tiffany Stratton in a hard fought match to reach the semi finals, though her tag team partner and other half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Jade Cargill didn’t have the same luck. After preventing a steel chair attack from Nia Jax, Cargill struck Jax with the chair. This led to a disqualification result, giving Cargill her first singles loss and dumping her out of the tournament. Belair will face Jax next week.

Over on the RAW side, next week’s semi finals will see Gunther vs. Jey Uso and Lyra Valkyria vs. Iyo Sky.
