Bianca Belair Wins SmackDown Women's Title At WWE WrestleMania 37

Add a B to the front of E-S-T

In the main event of night one of WrestleMania 37, Bianca Belair defeated Sasha Banks to capture the SmackDown Women's championship.

Late in the match, Belair sharply lashed Banks with her hair, drawing a nasty wound on the side of Banks' abdomen. The two then fought over the KOD and the Backstabber, before Belair spun out and twisted Banks up into the KOD for the win.

The match marks the third time the SmackDown Women's title has changed hands at WrestleMania, after Naomi won the title at 33, followed by Becky Lynch at 35.

The win marks the first championship of any sort Belair has won in wrestling.

Unfortunately, the loss drops Sasha Banks to an 0-5 lifetime record at WrestleMania. Banks has competed on the main card of every WrestleMania since 32 (except for 34).

Her 167-day reign with the title, however, is the second longest in the championship's four and a half year history (behind only Bayley's 380 days, which Banks herself brought to an end at Hell in a Cell in October).
