Big E Wins Men's WWE Money In The Bank Ladder Match

Feel the power

Big E won the men's Money in the Bank ladder match at the namesake pay-per-view Sunday night in Fort Worth.

Big E outlasted an eight-man ladder match field consisting of Seth Rollins, Riddle, Ricochet, Shinsuke Nakamura, Kevin Owens, Drew McIntyre, and John Morrison.

In the final sequence, Rollins powerbombed Owens off of a ladder and through an outside ladder bridge. Rollins then got caught climbing by Big E, who gave him the Big Ending off a ladder. Big E then climbed back up and retrieved the briefcase.

This was Big E's first ever appearance in a Money in the Bank ladder match. New Day teammate Kofi Kingston competed in the match on seven prior occasions.

Kingston lost in his WWE title bid against Bobby Lashley on Sunday night.

The last two men's Money in the Bank briefcases were successfully cashed in, by Brock Lesnar in 2019, and The Miz this past February (though he won his briefcase from 2020 ladder match winner Otis). Overall, the men's briefcase has successfully been cashed in 17 of a possible 21 times.
