Charlotte Flair Wins Raw Women's Title From Rhea Ripley At WWE Money In The Bank

"The Queen" reigns once more

Charlotte Flair is once more Raw Women's champion, after defeating Rhea Ripley for the title at Money in the Bank Sunday night in Fort Worth.

For the finish, Flair attempted a Figure Eight, only to be kicked off to the floor by Ripley. The brawl continued outside, where Ripley's leg ended up being trapped between the post and the steel steps, to which Flair began repeatedly kicking the steps. Flair then brought Ripley back inside and slapped on the Figure Eight for the submission.

Ripley's reign as Raw Women's champion ends after 98 days. She defeated Asuka at WrestleMania 37 on April 11 to capture the title.

For Flair, this gives her her 13th different reign with some form of singles title within WWE. She's now a five-time Raw Women's champion, five-time SmackDown Women's champion, one-time Divas champion, and two-time NXT Women's champion.

This is actually the first time Flair has held the Raw Women's title since February of 2017, when she lost the belt to Bayley on an episode of Monday Night Raw.
