Another name has been added to PWG’s Battle of Los Angeles 2022 tournament, as IMPACT's Black Taurus is set to join the fray.

PWG announced Taurus’ inclusion into the tournament via Twitter, with the upcoming 2022 BOLA being Taurus’ second appearance in the tournament, having suffered a first round loss to Darby Allin in 2019 on BOLA Night One, before participating in a ten-man tag match on Night Three.

Black Taurus is the fifth name announced for the 2022 BOLA thus far, joining the likes of Alex Shelley, JONAH, Lio Rush, and Kevin Blackwood.

The 2022 Battle of Los Angeles reverts to the classic two-nigh tournament format, after changing to a three-night event in the mid-2010s. In recent years the BOLA has had 24-competitors, but there’s no word yet on if PWG will follow the format for the 2022 edition, or change things up.

PWG BOLA 2022 will take place on Saturday January 29, and Sunday January 30 - the same weekend as the WWE Royal Rumble.
