Blood And Guts Match Set For May 5 Episode Of AEW: Dynamite
The worst is yet to come!
All Elite Wrestling's first-ever Blood And Guts Match has been confirmed for the May 5 episode of AEW: Dynamite.
Chris Jericho and The Inner Circle returned to the AEW ring for the first time since MJF exited the group and left them laid out, thanks to the help of his new faction - The Pinnacle.
A brawl between the two stables broke out across the arena last week and Jericho took to the ring, alongside his Inner Circle teammates, to address their former stablemate MJF, Wardlow, FTR, Shawn Spears and Tully Blanchard.
A passionate and angry Jericho cut an emotional promo, revealing that the two factions would be going to war in a Blood And Guts Match on Wednesday, 5 May 2021.
The Blood And Guts Match was supposed to debut in AEW last year, in a contest between The Inner Circle and The Elite, but the COVID-19 Pandemic meant the match was postponed.
It remains to be seen if the original rules for the match type will still be in place for this contest.
