Bobby Fish Debuts At Impact Victory Road

The former AEW performer has a new home

Former AEW and NXT star Bobby Fish debuted at Impact Wrestling's Victory Road on Friday night in Nashville.

Fish came out before the crowd and cut a promo, saying he was surprised by the recent controversy surrounding him, and said that after a 20 year career, he wasn't in Impact for the bulls**t. He said he was in Impact for the competition, and was going to keep an eye on the locker room.

Fish was then confronted by Shera and Raj Singh. He managed to take both men down, and locked Singh in a heel hook before the two intruders managed to bail out.

Fish's AEW contract expired on August 31, and he departed the company after being unable to come to terms on a new deal. Fish has since made a number of unflattering remarks about CM Punk, particularly over Punk's brand of martial arts, as well as the circumstances of their match last year.

Fish previously wrestled in WWE from 2017 to 2021, as part of the NXT brand. In both organizations, Fish teamed with Adam Cole and Kyle O'Reilly.
