Bobby Fish Denies He Tried To Convince Adam Cole & Kyle O'Reilly To Return To WWE

Bobby Fish did not try and convince Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly to return to WWE

Summer 2022 was certainly a turbulent time for All Elite Wrestling, with various reports of locker room unrest emanating from AEW.

Several talents were believed to have handed in release requests to AEW, whilst accusations of contract tampering of AEW stars were levied at WWE. Amongst this, reports suggested that Bobby Fish had attempted to convince his former Undisputed Elite team-mates Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly to jump ship back to WWE, but Fish recently revealed to Nick Hausman of Inside the Ropes that this wasn’t the case:

“[Dave] Meltzer’s people at one point released some leak about me when I left AEW trying to get Kyle [O'Reilly] and Adam [Cole] to come to WWE, and that is accepted at this point as like gospel, and there's no truth to it whatsoever,” said Fish. “But when somebody has, you know, low moral value reporting-wise, and then it gets into that news feed. Like I said, the desire to know, the perceived dirt is such that fiction becomes fact. I've been victim of that more than once."

Fish exited AEW in August 2022 after his contract expired.
