Bobby Lashley & MVP In Talks With AEW

AEW in talks with Bobby Lashley & MVP

A new faction could be on their way to All Elite Wrestling.

Fightful Select has reported that AEW have held talks with Bobby Lashley, MVP, and Shelton Benjamin in recent weeks but it is unknown if a deal is imminent. Should the faction show up on AEW TV, they will seemingly be named 'The Hurt Syndicate' based on recent trademark filings from Totally Harmless Concept LLC.

Bobby Lashley, MVP, and Shelton Benjamin are all free agents. Lashley and MVP both exited WWE during the Summer, while Shelton Benjamin was released by WWE in September 2023. After it emerged that MVP and Lashley would be leaving WWE, reports noted the duo were looking to form a new version of The Hurt Business with Shelton Benjamin in All Elite Wrestling and the trio had been discussed within the promotion.

There was speculation The Hurt Syndicate could make their AEW debuts on Wednesday night's Dynamite during the AEW Tag Team Casino Gauntlet. That was ultimately not the case, however, and the gauntlet was won by Will Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher. They will challenge The Young Bucks for the AEW World Tag Team Titles at Dynamite Grand Slam.
