Bobby Lashley Fired On WWE Raw

Bobby Lashley gone from WWE in storyline

Bobby Lashley was written off WWE TV on the December 12 edition of Monday Night Raw.

The All Mighty faced off with Seth Rollins in a United States Title number one contender's match in the main event of Raw and Lashley was ultimately on the receiving end of some misfortune as he hit Rollins with a Spear. The referee had suffered an injured ankle, though, and he was slow to count the pin which allowed Rollins to kick out.

An irate Lashley was unable to retain his composure as he berated the official before setting up for a second Spear. Rollins reversed into a Pedigree, however, pinning the two-time WWE Champion to become the new number one contender.

After the match, Lashley laid out a referee which prompted Adam Pearce to head to ringside and the WWE official failed to de-escalate the situation as Lashley proceeded to attack him. An angry Pearce survived the attack but he ended Raw by firing Lashley, with the final image of the broadcast being the 46-year-old's shocked face.

Why WWE have written off Lashley is currently unknown.
