Bobby Lashley No Longer Fired From WWE

Bobby Lashley still with WWE

Bobby Lashley's kayfabe firing from WWE lasted less than a day.

Less than 24 hours after he fired the two-time WWE Champion to close out Monday Night Raw, Adam Pearce posted a video on social media, announcing that Lashley is no longer fired, admitting he allowed his emotions to get the better of him. It was unacceptable for the 46-year-old to put his hands on a WWE official, though, and Pearce and Lashley will meet later this week to discuss next steps.

Lashley was fired following his United States Title number one contender's match against Seth Rollins in the main event of Raw. Lashley ultimately lost the match due to a referee injury which allowed Seth Rollins to hit a Pedigree on The All Mighty for the win.

After the match, Lashley laid out a referee and he then put his hands on Adam Pearce after the WWE official came to ringside to try and de-escalate the situation. This prompted an angry Pearce to fire Lashley live on air.
