Bobby Lashley Was Offered Fight Against Mike Tyson

Bobby Lashley’s AEW debut is reportedly imminent, with it being revealed that she had signed with the promotion alongside fellow former Hurt Business members MVP and Shelton Benjamin. Lashley has been absent from in-ring competition ever since leaving WWE, with his last match coming all the way back in May of this year. According to man himself, there was a chance he could’ve stepped into the ring much sooner, but not in the squared circle of the professional wrestling world. 

When speaking during a K&S WrestleFest signing, Lashley revealed that he’d been offer a fight with the 'Baddest Man On The Planet.'

"I was offered a Mike Tyson fight also. I was offered Mike Tyson several months back. I was like, 'Hmm, that would be a good fight.' People asked me the same question, 'Can I beat Mike Tyson?' I'm not going to say, 'Oh yeah, I can beat Mike Tyson,' but I would like to do the fight. That's what it's all about to me. As a competitor, as a fighter, I'm going to take a fight that comes my way. If it makes sense, I'll do it.”

Tyson is set to step foot into the boxing ring with Jake Paul in November.
