On last night's WWE Raw, Bobby Lashley won a six-way elimination match to become number one contender to the WWE United States Championship.

The match saw Lashley triumph over Seth Rollins, Baron Corbin, Finn Balor, Dolph Ziggler and The Miz - all former US Champions. A key story of the bout was the presence of MVP and Omos at ringside, who assisted Lashley in victory (although Bobby seemed unhappy about this.)

This follows developments on last week's Raw, where MVP attempted to reconcile with Lashley backstage and claimed to be reforming the Hurt Business - the pair's old stable including Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin.

Lashley will face reigning champion Austin Theory on next week's Raw - a special 30th anniversary edition of the show. Other bouts announced include Becky Lynch vs. Bayley in a steel cage match, and a tag title clash between The Usos and The Judgment Day (represented by Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio.)  Several WWE Hall of Famers are also set to appear, including Undertaker, Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair.
