Booker T: Aleister Black And Murphy Would Be Perfect For New Japan

Could they make the jump to Japan?

Booker T believes Aleister Black and Murphy would both be perfect fits for NJPW.

Black and Murphy were two of six names released by WWE on Wednesday 2 June, joining Braun Strowman, Ruby Riott, Lana and Santana Garrett in departing the company.

Each has a 90-day no-compete clause tied to them but former World Heavyweight Champion Booker T believes Black and Murphy would thrive in Japan, should they make the jump to the Far East.

Speaking on his Hall Of Fame Podcast, Booker T said: "Aleister Black fits perfect in New Japan. He fits perfect. I know where talent will thrive when you put them in the right position.

"Aleister Black in Japan, Buddy Murphy in Japan, both of those guys will do very well there because it's wrestling oriented, wrestling has changed from the way it was back when I went over there, it's totally different.

"You know, The Young Bucks giving a totally different flavor, and the Bullet Club and whatnot. Those two guys would fit perfectly in Japan."
