Both NBC & FOX Reportedly Unhappy With WWE

Both broadcast partners reportedly have some issues with WWE

NBC Universal and FOX - WWE's two broadcast partners - are reportedly both unhappy with some of the decisions made by the promotion in recent weeks.

WWE presents most both Monday Night Raw and NXT on the USA Network, which is owned by NBC Universal, while the WWE Network has been exclusively presented via NBC Universal's streaming service in the United States since the beginning of April.

FOX, meanwhile, broadcast Friday Night SmackDown on a weekly basis.

Both NBC and FOX however have reportedly taken issue with some of WWE's recent decisions in relation to how they affect their station in relation to the other.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, NBC Universal were very unhappy that WWE removed the Universal Championship Hell In A Cell Match between Roman Reigns and Rey Mysterio from Sunday's Hell In A Cell show - set to be streamed through Peacock - and instead put it on Friday Night SmackDown on Fox.

FOX, on the other hand, have taken issue with how WWE regularly promote Peacock on SmackDown. There are reportedly numerous individuals from FOX that are unhappy with this situation.

With both FOX and NBC finding problems with WWE in recent times, Vince McMahon is having to play 'a balancing act' in order to keep both broadcast partners content.
