Report: WWE Hopeful Of Imminent Brock Lesnar Return

WWE are reportedly hopeful that Brock Lesnar could be persuaded to return to the promotion in the imminent future and have creative plans ready for The Beast.

Lesnar has not been seen on WWE television since losing the WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 36 and the current absence has been the longest time he has spent away from the company since re-joining WWE in 2012.

However, Fightful Select are reporting a return could be on the cards with WWE hoping they can sway Lesnar to return 'imminently'

An initial report from Fightful that indicated conversations had taken place was later updated, suggesting that while WWE aren't making any great secret about their desire to have Lesnar back, those close to the man himself don't necessarily believe there has been any real movement in that direction.

It is likely WWE would love to have Lesnar back in time to work a match at SummerSlam in August, with multiple reports indicating the promotion is determined to have 'all hands on deck' for a pay-per-view that could rival any past WrestleMania.
