Brandi Rhodes Makes In-Ring Return In WWE

Brandi Rhodes returned to the ring on Friday, August 12, according to a report from PWInsider. 

Rhodes reportedly wrestled during an in-house live event at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Brandi is not currently listed as part of the NXT roster and if she will be making a return to WWE is currently unknown. 

Fightful Select confirmed PWInsider's report and noted that Brandi went one-on-one with a "newer talent." 

Brandi has grown closer to WWE since she and husband Cody Rhodes departed All Elite Wrestling in February of 2022. The American Nightmare returned to the company at WrestleMania 38, while Brandi has been focused on securing a TV or streaming service deal for her 'Shot of Brandi' series. 

Outside of that WWE match, Brandi has continued to train at the Nightmare Factory and she noted recently that she wants to continue her in-ring career. 

Rhodes' last match was back in January 2022 when she defeated KiLynn King in AEW. She had only just returned to the ring in December of 2021.
