Braun Strowman Competes On SmackDown Despite Concussion Reports

Braun Strowman returns one week after suffering reported concussion

Over the last week, reports emerged that Braun Strowman had suffered from a concussion, with the Monster Among Men being pulled from live events too. It wasn’t clear how long he would be out, just one week later he is already back in the fold.

Strowman teamed up with Ricochet to take on the Street Profits and Latino World Order members Cruz Del Toro & Joaquin Wilde in a tag team triple threat match. The Street Profits would emerge victorious, but the bigger talking point came with the fact that Strowman was back in action just one week after an apparent concussion.

On last week’s April 21 episode of SmackDown, Strowman appeared quite disjointed and disorientated in his and Ricochet’s tag team match against the Viking Raiders, with the pair notably botching a move which did the rounds online. The pair would make light of this moment last night, showing some mock hesitancy at performing a similar move.

It isn’t clear whether it was a false alarm for Strowman or just a very minor concussion which didn’t require any extended time away, but either it is a positive that his recovery was speedy.
