Braun Strowman Reportedly In Talks With IMPACT Wrestling

Strowman departed WWE in June

The former Braun Strowman has reportedly been in negotiations about a move to IMPACT Wrestling.

Adam Scherr - known as Strowman in WWE - departed the promotion as a shock release in early June of this year, just a few weeks after competing for the WWE Championship at the WrestleMania: Backlash pay-per-view,

Scherr's 90-day non-compete clause with WWE came to an end on August 31 and the 38-year-old is now free to sign with another promotion. According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, he has been in talks with IMPACT Wrestling about a move.

No deal between the two parties has yet been formalised but IMPACT Executive Vice-President Scott D'Amore has previously teased a move to IMPACT for Scherr, calling the company's upcoming October pay-per-view 'Braun For Glory' in a live stream on Twitch.

Scherr's first post-WWE wrestling match has been confirmed for next month, with the former WWE Universal Champion taking part in EC3's 'Free The Narrative 2' on Friday 1 October.
