Bray Wyatt Makes WWE In-Ring Return At House Show

Bray Wyatt back in a WWE ring

After over a year out of the squared circle, Bray Wyatt returned to the ring at WWE's house show from Madison Square Garden on December 26, 2022.

Jinder Mahal appeared during the live event, issuing an open challenge to anyone on the roster. This led to a surprise interruption from Wyatt and the match began soon after, with Bray picking up the win in quick fashion.

The MSG bout was Wyatt's first match since a loss to Randy Orton on night two of WrestleMania 37 on April 11, 2021. Wyatt was using his Fiend gimmick at the time and he went on hiatus following the loss before being released by WWE a few months later.

Following a regime change within WWE in July of 2022, Wyatt made his return to the company at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view. He is currently locked in a feud with LA Knight and the two rivals will seemingly face off at the Royal Rumble on January 28.

Other matches that took place at the MSG house show included a Five-Way Ladder Match for the Intercontinental Championship between GUNTHER, Madcap Moss, Kofi Kingston, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Santos Escobar. Kevin Owens and Braun Strowman defeated The Usos in the main event.
